Jewellery brand I love a Lassie has reported a strong start to the year due to “loyal” stockists and a strong showing at Jewellery and Watch Birmingham (J&WB).
Sales for the company have grown threefold compared to the same time last year, with the business attributing this to 12 new stockists that have joined the brand including the British Museum, the Sara Preisler Gallery in Birmingham and McCarthy’s, its first stockist in Ireland.
I Love a Lassie also praised the ‘continuing loyalty’ and repeat orders of its existing stockists including Clifton Rocks, Dower & Hall, Element Jewellery, Green +Benz, ST Hopper and Wink.
Lisa McMyn, director and co-founder of I Love a Lassie, said: “What a difference a year makes. This time last year, no-one had heard of us but this year, it felt more like catching up with old friends.
“We may be known for our Antique Lace and Bird’s Nest designs but our stockists clearly enjoyed getting to know our darker side. The Hex Nuts necklace and Nail rings have been going down a treat.”
The designer jewellery brand from Scotland exhibited at Jewellery & Watch Birmingham last week with designs from across its six core collections, including its Hard-Wear collection launched in the Autumn.
