New British jewellery brand Annabel B has launched with ‘wearable art’ handmade pieces.

Founder and creative director Annabel Bartfeld has launched the brand with pieces that are often intended to be worn in non-traditional places.

For example sterling silver bangles that bridge the hand or sit above the elbow to agate and onyx rings that rest on the upper finger.

The unconventional FixedOn range features chains that can be attached permanently, locking two ends of a capsule together so that they cannot be removed or pulled apart.

Each piece is handmade from her workshop in South Molton Street, in Mayfair, London.

Aside from sterling silver, Annabel also uses gold vermeil, rose gold vermeil and black rhodium plating in her chainwork.

Additionally, she incorporates gemstones in her rings, such as black zebra agate, white zebra agate, blue agate, purple agate and onyx.

Bartfeld is also a longstanding ambassador, fundraiser and volunteer on the wards of Great Ormond Street Hospital.

As a result 100% of the proceeds coming from her limited-edition pieces are donated to chosen charities, including Spread A Smile and Lymphoma Action.
