Family-owned jeweller Laings has posted turnover of £68.4m for the year ended 31 May 2024.

This number represents an increase of 8% compared with the previous year.

Alongside this, the company posted a profit before tax of £2.1m in the period.

Laings stated that it will return attention to updating their IT infrastructure, client facing software tools and operational efficiencies.

The company also noted it will continue to review arising opportunities in local areas as well as with brand partners to expand its market presence and strengthen strategic collaborations.

In the year Laings brought its second mono-brand TAG Heuer boutique to Edinburgh’s luxury shopping hub, Mulltrees Walk.

This became the second retail space for the company in Edinburgh accompanying its Laings showroom on George Street.

The company also completed its first full year of operation in its new Southampton showroom, which relocated in November 2023.

Additionally, in June 2024, Laings opened its new flagship showroom on Buchanan Street in Glasgow.
