Pandora named world’s most sustainable consumer brand
The jewellery maker now uses 100% recycled silver and gold across its products and has moved entirely to lab-grown diamonds

Pandora has been ranked the world’s most sustainable consumer brand and the second most sustainable company overall, according to the 2026 Global 100 index compiled by research group Corporate Knights.
The ranking was announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos on 21 January 2026. Pandora placed second among more than 8,000 companies assessed globally and topped the consumer discretionary sector.
Corporate Knights said the ranking reflected Pandora’s shift to recycled materials and renewable energy, as well as its ability to grow while reducing emissions. The jewellery maker now uses 100% recycled silver and gold across its products and has moved entirely to lab-grown diamonds.
Pandora also crafts all of its jewellery using 100% renewable electricity. Corporate Knights said the company had decoupled economic growth from carbon emissions, with revenue up 49% since 2019 while total CO₂ emissions fell 17% over the same period.
The Global 100 index assesses publicly listed companies with annual revenues of more than $1bn (£750m), measuring performance across areas including climate action, resource efficiency and social responsibility. Pandora ranked first among 1,476 companies in the consumer discretionary category.
This is Pandora’s second appearance on the Global 100. The company ranked 48th in 2025. Since 2021, Pandora has used only lab-grown diamonds, and in 2024 it completed its transition to 100% recycled silver and gold following several years of internal development work.
