Bucherer Blue and IWC Schaffhausen have partnered again for the release of the pair’s fourth creation for Bucherer Blue.
The special edition is based on the successful ‘Big Pilot’s Watch’ and features a rare big date complication.
Limited to 100 pieces, the timepiece is available exclusively at Bucherer and designed to appeal to watch enthusiasts.
The piece marks both the first ‘Big Pilot’s Watch’ for Bucherer Blue and the first partnership edition of the infamous Pilot’s Watch to feature a big date.
Around 46.2 mm in size, the IWC Schaffhausen Big Pilot’s Watch has a big date display beneath the triangular index at 12 o’clock, which has been integrated into the instrument character and features a double date ring.
The watch’s modern 4 Hz hand-wound movement of the IWC-manufactured 59235 calibre is a throwback to the diameter and size of IWC Schaffhausen’s pocket watch movement.
IWC Schaffhausen Big Pilot’s Watch Big Date Bucherer Blue will be priced at £13,100 in the UK.
