Argento offers £15,000 reward for stolen jewellery

Argento owner Peter Boyle is offering a £15,000 reward for anyone who can produce relevant information leading to the recovery of £80,000 worth of stolen Christmas stock.

The theft happened overnight between 10pm Saturday October 25 and 7:45am on Sunday October 26,  when over £80,000 worth of Christmas Pandora stock was stolen from courier company Express Freight Craigavon.

The stock was due to be delivered to Argento’s 22 stores for the official launch of the new range on October 30.

Boyle said: “This is a massive blow for us in the run up to Christmas. Someone somehow managed to figure out where our stock was. They took the four packets of our Christmas stock.

“We are offering a £15,000 reward for information that leads to the recovery of the stock. The company has come under threats before but nothing like this, the stock that has been stolen is extremely unique, the Pandora Christmas Collection has not even launched in the UK so cannot be purchased anywhere”

Police Service of Northern Ireland inspector  Ken Annett said: “An amount of jewellery was taken in the burglary. I would ask anyone who knows anything about it to contact Lurgan Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.”

People with information can contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
