Jewellery stolen in Marlow jewellers smash-and-grab

An 18-carat white sapphire and diamond cocktail ring is one of a number of pieces of jewellery stolen during a smash-and-grab raid in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, last month.

The robbery took place around 2:40am on Friday, September 18, when a white Vauxhall Corsa was driven into the front of Fullard Fine Jewellery on Spittal Street.

Police said that a man got out of the vehicle and entered the premises while a second man, both of which were wearing dark clothing, remained in the car. During the raid, display cabinets were smashed and a number of high value jewellery pieces were taken.

Other items taken in the robbery include:

• Yellow gold ruby and diamond ½ hoop ring
• White gold and diamond teardrop cluster pendant and chain
• Ruby and diamond bubbles ring
• Yellow gold and diamond horse shoe pendant
• White gold and diamond starfish pendant and chain
• Yellow gold and ruby crescent necklace

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Caroline Timmis at Wycombe police station said: “The cocktail ring in particular would be very recognisable to anyone who is offered it for sale. I would like to speak to anyone who has seen it or knows of its potential whereabouts.

“I would also like to speak to anyone who has information about this burglary or who knows where any of the other stolen items may be. Please contact me via the 101 number as soon as possible.”
