The House Style collection, designed and manufactured by C W Sellors and inspired by Chatsworth five centuries of fashion exhibition, will launch at IJL this year.
The seventy-four piece House Style Collection falls into four distinct design styles which reflect the glamour, elegance and history encapsulated by Chatsworth: Palmette & Diamond Collection, Chatelaine Collection, Chatsworth Heritage Collection and Inspired by a Duchess.
It draws upon the jewellery owned and worn by family over the generations; from headdresses to diamond tiaras and the insect brooches which belonged to Deborah, Duchess of Devonshire.
The collection is made from 18 carat yellow and white gold and features silver marcasite, diamonds, Derbyshire Blue John, semi and precious gemstones and Plique-à-jour enameling.
The Diamond Palmette Collection is based on the famous Devonshire Lotus and Palmette diamond tiara, commissioned by Duchess Louise, the double Duchess married to the 8th Duke.
The Chatelaine Heritage Collection is an early 19th century decorative chatelaine, another treasure on display at the exhibition, comprising a watch, seals and charms has been remodeled into a series of pendants.
The Chatsworth Heritage Collection features the House Style logo, designed by Chatsworth for the exhibition itself, has been turned into an elaborate pendant and brooch.
The Insect Collection has been inspired by Duchess Deborah’s insect collection.
C W Sellors will also present the Christmas Wishes collection at IJL which consists of selection of Christmas themes jewellery designs including snowflakes, reindeer and candy canes, snowmen and wrapped presents.
The collection is designed in sterling silver with yellow gold plated and green cubic zirconia and comprises of earrings, necklaces, rings, charms and bracelets.
