Fine jewellery brand Anne Sisteron has achieved the Positive Luxury Butterfly Mark.

To achieve the Butterfly Mark, companies must achieve a minimum of 50% in each area of ESG assessment.

Anne Sisteron achieved 67% in environment, 57% in social and in governance.

Sustainability, charitability and the championing of women are the three “non-negotiable” pillars on which its designs rest.

According to Positive Luxury, the brand’s action on each of these, and its resultant work to embed sustainability practices throughout its operations has enabled the achievement of Butterfly Mark certification.

‌The brand particularly excelled in its achievements in the reduction of carbon footprint and the expansion of its social and community activity.

Positive Luxury said: “A carbon footprint assessment towards a 2030 Net Zero goal led to the implementation of energy conservation training among Anne Sisteron’s teams, and a switch to renewable energy in its corporate facilities.

“Additionally, a range of charitable social endeavours – including the Anne Gives Back initiative, which invites customers to donate to a charity of their choice, plus donations from the business to non-profits including Thrive and National Alliance of Mental Illness support its giving goals. In parallel, a prioritisation of partnerships and collaborations with women-led businesses demonstrates direct action on its objective of championing women and greatly increased its Social score as a result.”
