Pandora has launched a new heart-shaped Unicef-inspired silver charm with a blue center-stone, representing Unicef’s signature colour.
The launch highlights Pandora’s ongoing partnership with Unicef, which has raised nearly $14m (£10.8m) over the past five years to support children and young people worldwide.
The Pandora for Unicef partnership supports children and young people worldwide, with a special focus on girls, through educational programmes that champion their empowerment.
Pandora is working with Unicef to equip young people with essential STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), digital, and life skills needed to thrive in the workforce.
Through targeted education initiatives in Thailand, Vietnam, and China, the collaboration fosters inclusive learning opportunities that prepare adolescents for the future.
Half of Pandora’s contributions directly support these educational programmes, while the other half provides flexible funding for Unicef, enabling the organisation to respond to urgent needs and emerging priorities worldwide.
The new Pandora for Unicef charm is available online and in stores worldwide.
Berta de Pablos-Barbier, chief marketing officer of Pandora, said: “Children are at the heart of our mission—they are the foundation of the future. When you get learning and education right, you create lasting change in society.
“Supporting girls’ education, in particular, transforms communities, countries, and the world. It empowers girls to earn higher incomes, take part in key decisions, and shape better futures for themselves and their families.”
Susanne Dahl, executive director, Unicef Denmark, added: “Education is a basic human right, and simply put, all children deserve the right to live better lives through education.
“This Pandora for Unicef charm is just one representation of the warm hearts behind our unique relationship that provides young people, especially girls, with a quality education.”
