Christie’s Jewels has unveiled its global sales calendar for June and July, with an itinerary that now includes live and online auctions in Geneva, Hong Kong, London, New York, and Paris.

A total of nine auctions are planned, with five to be held live and four to be held online, beginning with Jewels Online in New York (16-30 June) and ending with Important Jewels in London (30 July).

The global sales will collectively feature over 1,000 jewels, including a “significant” selection of colourless diamonds, coloured diamonds, and rare gemstones.

The sales will also feature signed creations by Belperron, Bulgari, Cartier, Graff, Harry Winston, JAR, Tiffany & Co., Van Cleef and Arpels, and Verdura, with estimates ranging from $5,000 (£3,978) to $8m (£6.4m).

Rahul Kadakia, international head of jewellery at Christie’s, said: “As the jewelry auction market leader for over twenty-six years, our team continues to strategically innovate and bring to market the very best jewels for our clients.

“Year-over-year, we have seen an increase in online participation and the value threshold for buying in online sales and remotely through live auctions.”

He added: “This year we have witnessed unprecedented circumstances, enabling Christie’s new opportunities for our enhanced digital platform and pioneering innovation to best leverage our global sale sites.

“Recognizing greater client confidence and our increasingly global audience, we are pleased to offer the largest and most valuable D color diamond for sale online and a splendid collection of jewels in our live auctions worldwide.”
