Alkemistry has revealed it will have a presence at London Craft Week, with an event promoting their Kumachi bracelet.
The brand is hosting a workshop at its jewellery store which will allow customers to learn about how to make their own Kumachi bracelets.
The Kumachi bracelet, which was created during lockdown, honours an ‘‘ancient Japanese weaving technique’’ and harnesses both ‘‘mindfulness and sustainability’’.
The name originates from two Japanese words, ‘kumi’ which means coming together and ‘hachi’ meaning eight, the latter evoking the entwining of eight cords.
Alkemistry’s workshop is between 5-8pm on 7 October at the retailer’s Floral Street store.
