The event was hosted by Claire Rourke and Matt Critchley from LFC TV, with many former players present to honour those receiving awards. Winners on the night included Jamie Carragher as ‘Player of the Decade 2000-2010’, and former manager Roy Evans with a Lifetime Achievement award presented by lifelong Liverpool fan, John Bishop.
Peter Wong of Wongs Jewellers said: “This was an amazing event to be part of, with many of LFC’s former legends in attendance. Beth Tweddle (pictured) looked stunning in her diamond Wongs necklace, and we were delighted to be associated with the inaugural LFC Former Players Association end of season gala dinner.”
Chairman of the Liverpool Former Players Association, Jan Molby, added: “We were delighted to have Wongs at this event and grateful for their support. We look forward to working with them again in the future.”
