Danish jewellery brand, Trollbeads, has announced the appointment of Henrik Leth Møller as interim managing director of Trollbeads UK.

The announcement comes after David Riddiford, the brand’s UK chief executive, stepped down from this role to go into semi-retirement.

Leth Møller joined the brand as sales director from Danish watch company, Bering Time, in January 2014 and has developed and managed Trollbeads’ business in the UK and Ireland over the last year.

In his role as interim managing director Møller will continue to drive Trollbeads’ sales strategy in the UK and will oversee all aspects of the business, reporting directly to Trollbeads in Denmark.

Jan Stig Anderson, Trollbeads’ CEO, said: “I would like to take the opportunity to thank David for his hard work and the effort he has put into the development of our business here in the UK. His leadership, experience and business acumen has helped to strengthen Trollbeads organisation and build the brand in the UK.

“David is leaving us as a good friend of Trollbeads in order to enjoy a well-deserved semi-retirement combined with some consultancy and non-executive work.”
