Four rings stolen from Wrexham Goldsmiths

Four rings have been stolen by thieves from a jewellery store in Wrexham, North Wales.

The incident, which happened at around 12:30pm on Thursday, October 29 at Goldsmiths in Regent Street, saw one man waited outside the shop while another entered and asked to see some rings.

While examining one ring, he snatched another three from a shop assistant before both men fled the scene.

Witnesses described the man who took the rings as in his late 20s, about 5ft 8ins tall, of mixed race with a trimmed beard. He was of medium build and was wearing blue jeans and a black puffer jacket.

Meanwhile, the offender who waited outside is described as in his late 20s, white, 6ft tall and of large build. Police said no weapons were involved and no one was hurt.

Detective Superintendent Roz Hewitt, at North Wales Police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have seen these offenders prior to the incident or after they left the shop, and to anyone who may have information which could assist our investigation, to contact North Wales Police on 101 or anonymously Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111, quoting crime reference S165774.”
