One4all, the multi-store gift card available from the Post Office, has announced plans to expand its presence amongst independent retailers in Northern Ireland.One4all currently sells £43 million worth of gift cards in Northern Ireland each year, with an average cash value of £26 per card. The are supported as gifts by major retailers such as Debenhams, House of Fraser, Boots and Argos.

However One4all wants to extend the scheme to support independent department stores and growing, independent retailers including jewellers.

By joining the scheme, independents will benefit from being able to access a huge potential market of customers looking to spend their gifts, and get their brand in front of one million Post Office customers each week.

Peter Boyle, owner of successful Northern Ireland retail chain Argento, has reported significant growth in sales and redemptions since joining the scheme. His firm’s most recent monthly figures show an increase in redemptions of 256 per cent year-on-year.

Boyle said: “Joining the One4all Gift Card scheme has seen our 20 Northern Ireland stores benefit from a significant increase in brand awareness along with incremental sales and increased footfall.”
