Describe yourself in three words?

Audacious, poised, exuberant 

How did you get to be where you are today?

By embracing the butterflies and recognising that feeling anxious about something because I haven’t done it before, is actually a sign of progress.

Which aspect of your job do you enjoy most, and why?

Thinking up new designs and testing my abilities. There is honestly no greater feeling than seeing how far my capabilities as a designer and silversmith have come.

What is your proudest achievement?

Having my jewellery worn on the red carpet of the Star Wars premiere.

What is the best life advice you have ever been given?

‘It’s a difficult industry to really make a name for yourself, it’s not worth it if you want to make a living out of it.’ A jewellery designer at the Spirit of Christmas responded with this when I told her I was just starting out and asked if she had any advice for me. It lit a fire under my ass because it irked me enough to motivate me, I need to prove her theory wrong.

What is your next goal?

I’m piloting a new way of selling, for me. As pop ups aren’t really a thing this season, I’ve had to get creative with how I’m going to show people my new collection. You’ll have to watch this space to get more info I’m afraid!
