Jessica Flinn launches new LGBTQIA+ jewellery collection

The collection presents an array of ‘hypnotic’ salt and pepper diamonds and teal sapphires

Jessica Flinn Fine Jewellery has launched a new LGBTQIA+ ring collection, Dopamine, for pride month.

The collection is curated by purchasing manager Natasha and junior designer Emma, under the supervision of principal designer and CEO Jessica Flinn-Allen.

The new range comprises four brand-new designs and reworked original Jessica Flinn designs modelled on members of the LGBTQIA+ community.

Flinn-Allen said that the Dopamine collection, named after the euphoria-inducing brain chemical, has been designed “with the express intent of radiating happiness and joy through each piece”.

Featuring a blend of new designs and classic Jessica Flinn styles with a twist, the Dopamine collection showcases “innovative” designs set with handpicked gemstones.

The collection presents an array of “hypnotic” salt and pepper diamonds and teal sapphires.

A novel addition to the brand’s offerings is the Teal Moissanite, a gemstone known for its durability and ocean-like hues, which makes its debut in the Dopamine collection.

The collection boasts a variety of “standout” pieces, including: Georgia: Oval Cut Teal Sapphire, Elongated Hexagon Salt and Pepper, Oval Cut Teal Tourmaline; Arden: Elongated Hexagon Salt and Pepper; Scarlett: Octagon Cut Teal Sapphire, Octagon Cut Blue Sapphire and many more.

Flinn-Allen, CEO of Jessica Flinn Fine Jewellery, said: “We’re delighted to introduce our brand new, extremely exciting, and flippin’ fabulous collection; ‘Dopamine. Just like the feel-good chemical released by your brain, this collection has been designed to bring pure happiness into your life.

“We wanted to break away from traditional gender norms and create imagery which would make you take a second look. Using models of all ethnicities, gender identities, limb differences and neurodiversities should be much more prevalent in our industry, and we hope that by advocating for this to become the norm, we can take small steps towards a more inclusive industry.”

She added: “Everyone, regardless of their background, gender or however they identify, should have equal opportunities to thrive and succeed in the jewellery industry, and I hope you feel the same about your own industry.

“By being an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community, Jessica Flinn Fine Jewellery and Flinn & Steel aim to influence the industry to embrace diversity, inclusivity and equality, not just in terms of sexual orientation and gender identity, but across all dimensions. Jewellery should be a form of self-expression and a celebration of individuality. We’re here to change the jewellery industry, one piece of one-of-a-kind jewellery at a time.”
