Astrid and Miyu is to open its first store in Northern Ireland at Victoria Square in Belfast, taking an 1,800 sq ft unit at the shopping centre.

The contemporary jewellery brand is the second retailer to launch in the complex this year, following the arrival of Bershka earlier in 2025.

Space NK is also relocating its Belfast outlet into Victoria Square, where it is creating a 3,500 sq ft boutique on the lower ground level. The new store will sit alongside Reiss, All Saints and Astrid and Miyu.

Russell Banham, UK head at Commerz Real, asset manager of Victoria Square, said: “Astrid and Miyu selecting Victoria Square for its debut and Space NK relocating into the centre are very strong endorsements. As with the signing of Bershka earlier in the year, they highlight how important our asset is for brands, whether they are taking those first steps in a new market or are established operators seeking the very best space Belfast has to offer.”

Connie Nam, founder, added: “At Astrid and Miyu, being leaders in the experiential space is not just a goal, it’s a core part of who we are as a brand. We take immense pride in creating immersive, memorable in-store experiences that go beyond traditional retail.”

The openings come as Victoria Square continues to attract new tenants. Bershka recently signed for a 17,500 sq ft flagship unit on the upper ground floor, while Pull and Bear has relocated to a store three times the size of its former outlet. Loake has also opened a 1,032 sq ft space and Lego launched a store last week.
