Luxury jewellery storage brand Wolf has partnered with London department store Liberty to create a collection featuring Liberty’s historic textile designs.
The Wolf x Liberty range includes jewellery boxes, travel cases and watch rolls using Liberty’s Art Nouveau-inspired Ianthe print and the 1930s floral Julia motif. Both patterns have been adapted in bespoke colourways for the collaboration.
Products in the collection are made with bio-based materials and fitted with gold or silver hardware. They also feature Wolf’s patented LusterLoc technology, designed to prevent jewellery tarnishing for up to 35 years.
Items are available in navy and burgundy embossed with the Ianthe design, with printed interior details, or in sage with the Julia print.
Simon Wolf, chief executive of Wolf, said: “Together we have created a collection which honours the heritage of both brands and introduces Wolf’s patented innovations and our focus on using more and more bio-based materials.”
Pere Bruach, design manager at Liberty, said the collection was informed by Liberty’s design history. He said: “The Wolf x Liberty collection celebrates collaboration, craftsmanship, and thoughtful curation… The iconic ‘Ianthe’ has been carefully engineered and embossed onto sustainable leather. Alongside it, the 1930s-inspired floral print ‘Julia’ brings a nostalgic, quintessentially Liberty feel to the collection.”
Wolf was founded in 1834 as a boxmaking business by Philipp Wolf I and remains family run under its fourth generation.
Liberty, launched in 1875 by Arthur Lasenby Liberty, is marking its 150th anniversary this year. Its in-house studio continues to draw on more than 60,000 archival prints.
