Hublot will partner with Soccer Aid for Unicef, the world’s biggest charity football live event, for its 2020 match that is set to take place this week.
Soccer Aid for Unicef, which was created as a way of raising money for at risk children around the world, has raised over £38m since its launch in 2006.
Hublot said it was “delighted” to support Soccer Aid for Unicef as Official Timekeeper, a position the brand has held for the past four years.
The match will run on Hublot time, goals will be scored over a Hublot branded goal line, and a roster of celebrities and sporting figures will be called onto the pitch with a Hublot substitute board.
In addition, Hublot is donating five Big Bang UNICO Titanium 42mm special pieces featuring the Soccer Aid logo on the case-back glass to the Soccer Aid for Unicef auction to raise money for Unicef.
The player of the match will also be awarded a Hublot wall clock for their contribution to the game.
Ricardo Guadalupe, Hublot CEO, said: “We are extremely proud to once more support Soccer Aid for Unicef as Official Timekeeper.
“This inspiring and worthy initiative has raised incredible funds of over £38mllion through a passion for football that is shared in Hublot’s philosophy. Hublot Loves Football and recognises its role in uniting people around the world to create shared moments of joy.”
Kenneth Shepherd, executive director at Soccer Aid Productions, said: “Everyone at Soccer Aid for Unicef is once again delighted to be partnering with Hublot – who are long-time supporters of ours.
“Hublot have again very generously donated five of their Iconic Big Bang UNICO Titanium 42mm watches for auction.”
He added: “Hublot’s in-game presence, through features like the branded substitutes board, enriches the event for our players and everyone watching at home and we are very thankful to them for that.”
