Raw Pearls and Holts Academy collaborate for pearl seminar

A supplier of pearls to the trade, Raw Pearls believes that good product knowledge helps sales staff to sell well. Unfortunately, the company believes that retailers often express a degree of uncertainty towards pearls, which, in turn, leads to lack of confidence when buying.

Therefore, the supplier has worked with Holts Academy to produce a seminar it hopes will enthusiastically educate retailers, and lead to confident sellers reassuring consumers that they are buying from a knowledgeable source.

Areas covered during the seminar include how to tell the difference between fake, cultured and natural pearls; the different types of cultured pearl; photograph tour of a pearl farm; a look at the factors that determine price; and commentary on the current market.

The seminar will take place at Holts Academy between 3pm and 5.30pm on 3 April 2013. Anyone interested in attending is asked to call the Student Services department on 020 7405 0197.
