Christie’s Jewels Online sale, which lasted from 27 January to 10 February, saw sales totalling $2,703,750 (£1,955,906).
Some 98% of items were sold by lot at the virtual auction and 139% hammer above low estimate.
The auctioneer’s virtual sale attracted a global audience with bidders from 39 different countries and 30% of participants were first-time registrants.
The top lot of the sale was a Fancy Yellow Diamond Ring of 23.58 carats that came to $325,000 (£235,000).
Other items sold included Heart-shaped Coloured Diamond Earrings that achieved $52,500 (£37,978); Bombé Ruby and Diamond Earrings by Graff that sold for $50,000 (£36,170) and a Pavé Diamond and Rose Gold ‘Love’ Bracelet by Cartier that sold for $25,000 (£18,000) against its low estimate of $6,000 (£4,240).
