Maya Gemstones has announced its latest capsule collection ‘Liliet’, a dedication to the world’s longest reigning female monarch, named after her childhood nickname.
Each piece has been designed in the formation of a rose, is diamond encrusted and features a striking ‘Maya cut’ morganite as its main stone. The earring can be worn as a dangler or climber – and can also be worn as a broach.
Olga Pekarevskaia, founder of Maya Gemstones, said: “Queen Elizabeth II was a resilient woman, she was never actually meant to be Queen, but she took on the role with gumption and was an unwavering constant in times of uncertainty.
“For this reason, I wanted to design a collection in her honour, one that also depicts the main characteristics of the rose – its outstanding beauty demands admiration, but that doesn’t mean it’s weak, it can protect itself and despite harsh winters, it returns every Spring.”
She added: “The Lilibet collection is very versatile, as the earring can be worn in multiple ways – as a dangler or a climber – or as a statement brooch.A bracelet and a pendant will be added early next year.”
