Alison Mardell has joined TJA-Connect, the virtual trade showcase that gives jewellery suppliers and service providers a “low cost route” to market and allows retail jewellers and buyers to communicate with each other.

The virtual showcase happens regularly throughout the year and includes features which allow retailers and suppliers to connect and sell offline.

Mardell is a long-standing industry figure, known primarily for her work at IJL diamond club, Alfred Terry and Chamberlain Clarke.

Mardell said: “Suppliers and retailers need to find each other and this is the perfect service to do so.

“When I first saw the aisles, Augmented Reality and the Trade directory it blew me away and inlight of Covid-19 we need this sort of initiative within the jewellery and gift trades.”

Michelle Daniels, co-founder of TJA-Connect, said: “We’re really excited to have Alison join the team, she is well known through the trade and very well respected.

“The showcase is a little different to others, we have the concept of aisles, augmented reality, product lookbook and social style networking to connect, invite and share news.”
