Three arrests after rooftop raid at Beaverbrooks in Huddersfield

Three men have been arrested following a roof-top raid at a Beaverbrooks store in Huddersfield town centre.

The suspects are believed to have been caught following an operation which involved the West Yorkshire police helicopter.

It is believed that police were called to the building at the corner of King Street and Market Walk at around 9pm on Saturday night, March 28. Police found that the premises had been entered via the roof.

Police have said that jewellery was “disturbed” but it is not yet known whether any items have been taken.
