TJA-Connect has held the soft launch of its first international virtual trade show for suppliers, with the event “gaining attention fast” with over 900 registrations and over 50 exhibitors.
The first event launched on 28 October and will remain open until 15 December to assist suppliers with their current needs.
The virtual show has “aisles to explore, lookbooks to view and AR so visitors can try on products”.
TJA-Connect said it aims to connect suppliers online to meet and sell offline, meaning that there are online transactions or commissions fees for participants. Entrants must however pay £195 per show, as well as pay for options for augmented reality, lookbooks and marketing.
Jamie Jones, owner of Rocklobster Jewellers, said: “Just what the Jewellery industry needs to drive it forward in very uncertain times. I believe the virtual trade show will be a game-changer and help bring supplier and retailers together.”
Michelle Daniels, co-founder of TJA-Connect, added: “We are so pleased, we had a barrage of compliments from the exhibitors including, ‘wow, it looks amazing, more interesting than other virtual events’, ‘visionary’ and many more great comments.”
